The Centro Universitario Regional del Este (CURE) – http://www.cure.edu.uy/, was created in 2009 and belongs to the Universidad de la República (Udelar) – http://udelar.edu.uy/portal/, Uruguay. It consists of three centers located in the eastern region of the country. The CURE has a highly specialized teaching staff (more than 100) and covers various research topics. Researchers are engaged in teaching at the undergraduate, graduate level.
